Tools I Use
I often get asked what tools I use on a daily basis. These can vary from day to day but I’ll try and list them all here for you. Any that I miss or use in the future, I’ll add them to the list so be sure to bookmark this page so you can check them out.
(Some of the links are affiliate links and I may earn a commission if you buy one of the products or services. If you prefer you can just Google them and go direct to the main websites)
Blogging Related
-
WordPress – So I can’t start off this list without having one of my most important tools listed first. I’ve been using WordPress since 2003 for almost all my websites. It’s a free and hugely powerful platform.
Hosting
-
Hostgator – I’ve used Hostgator for many years and their support is very good indeed. They are one of the biggest hosting companies on the planet, so you can’t go wrong with them.
Blog Content
-
Market Samurai – This is a great tool to use for finding keywords to target on your blogs. Personally I mainly use the website tracking feature to see where my sites rank for lots of keywords. It saves me hours of manual work. There’s a free trial available too.
Google Adwords Keyword Tool – This is a free tool offered by Google and lets you see what keywords you can target and how often they are searched for each month.
Blog Promotion
-
3 Way Links – This is a great option for getting unique links to your blogs that grow over time.
SENuke – This tool allows you to automate most of your backlinking. I use it mainly to get links to my niche blogs from social network sites and also for bookmarking. It’s not cheap but pays for itself if you put it to use.
Unique Article Wizard – I use this to send out unique articles to hundreds of blogs and article directories. It’s easy to use and gets some great links to your blogs.
The Best Spinner – This tool is one of my favourites. I use it to spin articles and then put those articles into Unique Article Wizard. It saves so much time and is one of the easiest ways to generate unique content.
List Building
-
Aweber – The only list management company I’ve ever used. Great service and very low prices.
